This is something possible. What we need to think is the way the interface would look like. What we are thinking is to add a Reply Comments which will open the Add Comment pop-up, like the one we currently have, but with a tab to the right where you will see avatars of the users that commented on the photo. You can tap on the avatars to select to who you want to reply.

To not be limited by the size of the cache you can use offline stacks. With offline stacks you can have locally as many pictures as needed. With offline stacks you can for example select your photo stream and send it to an offline stack, or you can send one or more sets to an offline stack. All photos are downloaded automatically.
The only issue we need to look at is that the picture info may not be available (i.e. EXIF, tags) this is something we could add.An error occurred while saving the comment Only way now is to view the tags, EXIF of photos when online. This is something we can improve in a future version

There is no Pinterest API, but it seems that they are working on one. We will check the availability of their API in the future. We will keep this open to see if if others may be interested on this functionality.
