Sharing to Social Networks

You can send photo links to one or multiple Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr accounts. You can post links from single photos or list of photos

Before sharing to Social Networks

Before you can share to social networks you must add your Facebook, Twitter or Tumblr accounts in the Accounts screen. You can find step by step instructions here: Adding Accounts

Sharing photos to Social Networks

Once you have added accounts for social networks, you can share photo links or upload photos.

Sharing or Uploading a photo to Social Networks

  1. When looking at any photo in details view or full screen view, tap on the Share to Social networks button or in the Action button, located in the top toolbar.
  2. The Share popup appears. Here you can type a message and select the accounts that will be used to share. The message will be pre populated with the photo title and the photographer's name. (if the photo is yours, the photographer's name is omitted).
  3. Below the message you can see the short URL link to the photo. This will always be appended automatically at the end of the message (for twitter) or as a clickable link with the photo (in Facebook and Tumblr) o
  4. From the list of accounts you can tap on the blue to configure the options for sharing with that account. The options presented for configuration are specific to the social network type. You can save your configuration as defaults so there is no need to come back to these options every time you are sharing photos:
    • Facebook: Configure if you want to to upload the photo rather than sharing a link to the photo.
    • Tumblr: You can configure to upload the photo rather than a link, the size of the photo to share (medium or large), if you want to post to your queue and if you want to post tags.
    • Twitter: Configure if you want to upload the photo rather than a link, and specify if you want the geo location on your tweet (you can choose between the photo location or your current location)
  5. Tap on the accounts you want to post to, you can select as many accounts/social networks as you want, and the post will be shared across all those networks.
  6. When you have selected all the social networks where you want to post your photo, tap on Share.

Sharing several photos to Social Networks

You can share a link to photo lists like your photostream or a set in Facebook or 500px, a folder on a Cloud servic, etc..

  1. To share a link to your photostream, tap on the photostream, then tap on the Action button located on the top toolbar.
  2. Now tap on Share via Social Network
  3. The Share popup appears. Here you can type a message and select the accounts that will be used to share. The message will be pre populated with the photo title and the photographer's name. (if the photo is yours, the photographer's name is omitted).
  4. Below the message you can see the short URL link to the photostream. This will always be appended automatically at the end of the message (for twitter) or as a clickable link with the photo (in Facebook and Tumblr) o
  5. From the list of accounts you can tap on the blue to configure the options for sharing with that account. The options presented for configuration are specific to the social network type.     • Facebook: Options are not available when sharing a photo list to Facebook (Upload a photo list is not possible)
    • Tumblr: You can configure if you want to post to your queue
    • Twitter: Specify if you want your current geo location on your tweet
  6. Tap on the accounts you want to post to, you can select as many accounts/social networks as you want, and the post will be shared across all those networks.
  7. When you have selected all the social networks where you want to post, tap on Share.
