Users who have purchased both the 500 app & the FlickrStackr app get the 500px module for free as a in-app purchase in FlickrStackr. I would like to see that FlickrStackr 500 module have the capability to save even "save disabled" pictures from the 500 website as extra value to loyal customers who have purchased both apps2 votes
In FlickStackr 3.1 the setting to ignore restrictions applies to both Flickstackr and 500px add-on.
This will be available in the next version of FlickStackr, (v 3.1).
Be able to join a group while looking at that group. I like to see what groups my contacts are in and want to join them without having to leave the app and look it up and then join. Perhaps you could pop me over to Flickr and the home page of that group?1 vote
With the current version you can join a group, no need to leave FlickStackr and look up for the group you want to join.
When you are in a group you can tap in the discussions icon (bubble icon) which will bring the browser interface where you can select to join a group.
Browsing photos that are in Dropbox and uploading photos from Dropbox to Flickr17 votes
This is now available in v2.8
We are working on the integration with DropBox, an add-on for FlickStackr will be available.
After opening the app, if you cancel the password input, you're redirected to home screen. By clicking on the same account and then refresh it will open the account without any password. All options available.4 votes
We have fixed this in version 2.3
I have one iPhone and two iPads. Whenever I add an image to a stack on one device, the other devices don't get it. It would be nice if there was an option to sync them across devices.25 votes
Saving Stacks to iCloud is now available in version 2.5
We have been working on the iCloud functionality, we are planning to have it ready for 2.5
We are just starting investigation, we are planning to have this functionality for either 2.4 or 2.5.
Initial thoughts on the implementation are:
It will do a merge from your different devices, if there are stacks that have the same name in your devices , after the merge you will see both of them, (they would be stack and stack2) you can later rearrange photos in the stacks or delete stacks.
Option to search for people in a photo as tagged via flickrs person tag on photos10 votes
Added in version 2.9
On the share menu (or somewhere) add links to "open in Safari" for the appropriate page (set, photo, etc).5 votes
We are adding “Open in Browser” in the Action menu, this will open a browser for the appropriate page (photo, set, etc). This available in 2.1
1) start uploading two photos.
2) add one more photo.
3) When the first batch finishes, start uploading the next photo.
Expected: It should ask, "are you sure you want to upload 1 photo?"
Actual: It asks, "are you sure you want to upload 2 photos?"1 vote
Closing this request as we can’t reproduce with latest version. If this is still an issue, please let us know.
We can’t reproduce this bug. The only way we get this scenario is if one of the photos failed to upload, then when you upload the next photos it will include the new one and the one that failed. (which is expected as the photo was not uploaded).Could you verify that when you are in step 3 you only have one photo in the Upload List? The other two photos should not be in the upload list as they have been uploaded already.
In current version you can browse trough Galleries, and you can see to which Galleries a photo belongs to. It would be nice if you could add photos to
I like to save others' photos to Flickr Galleries, to curate specific views or specific subjects. I'd really like to do this from the app. It would make sense to add this capability under the Modify... button behavior.4 votes
Adding photos to galleries is possible in v 3.8
Adding photos to galleries will be possible in the next update
When I save a search into stack, the apps will produce "Search: XXX", it's normal, but after I close it and open again, it became "Search: Search: XXX" and the result no longer be same (or even incorrect)1 vote
This is something that we have fixed for the 2.1 release. This will be available in a few days
It would be nice if you were able to join (and leave?) groups from within FlickStackr, rather than have to go to the browser interface.16 votes
Just to clarify. When you are in a group you can tap in the discussions icon (bubble icon) which will bring the browser interface where you can select to join a group. This could be simplified so less taps are required to join a group, but it has to be with the browser interface because the Flickr API does not expose functionality for joining groups.
Similar to what you did for 500px but add for instagram.17 votes
Instagram support is available in 3.0 with in-app purchase.
Also available in PhotoStackr for Instagram
Ability to add Flickr "sets" to either a new or existing Flickr "collection" with in the application.17 votes
The Flickr API has been update and allows this functionality. This will be available in version 3.0.
The public Flickr API doesn’t allow this functionality, but we have found a private API. We don’t know yet if this private API can be used from apps, so we will be doing some investigation.
This is now possible in FlickStackr v2.7 .
Specify any or all of : title, caption, sets, groups, location, size, privacy
- Defaults are applied when photos are added to upload list queue.
- You can choose to NOT apply the defaults in case you’re uploading photos which do not fit your normal pattern.
- Defaults are kept separare per flickr/facebook/500px account.
We first received the idea of just remembering the private/public setting. But thanks to this idea we are now planning on having metadata defaults (not just private, public).
It's good to have it for videos, but i presume the main reason majority of people using this app is for browsing photos.3 votes
AirPlay for photos with FlickStackr is already possible with newer devices (iPhone 4s and iPad 2). With older devices there is no much we can do as Apple imposed a limitation to third-party apps and only video is allowed for AirPlay.
Add send to Photo Library button to the floating bar at the bottom of the page for quick access9 votes
With configurable actions in v3.1 you can configure either tap and hold or dobule tap to save to photo library
In FlickStackr 3.1, there are configurable quick actions. You can select which action happens when you double tap or tap and hold. Could you please try it, and let us know if you still need this in the quick toolbar.
Being able to copy links like ((http://www.flickr.com/photos/XXXXXXXXX ) )sent in email or on Facebook and view the pictures in FlickStackr10 votes
This was added in version 3.4. When you copy a link to photo, when you launch FlickStackr you get prompted if you you would like to open the link, which will take you to the photo.
Make it possible to sort an image's added Flickr group list so that they are combined together in a section at the top.
FlickStackr currently requires scrolling through your entire group list to find them.6 votes
In version 3.6 it is possible to sort the photos in a group by newest (uploaded/taken) or oldest (uploaded/taken)./
On recent activity view clicking on a comment takes you to view of image being commented on instead of to view of user that made the comment1 vote
As we are updating the recent activity page to make it easy to reply to comments, we are also updating so if you tap on the profile pic it goes to the user. This is available in update 2.1
- Don't see your idea?
