  1. make the "user view" narrow

While i really LIKE the new home view of version 2.5 (using thumbnail blocks instead of plain text rows), the "user view" look even more strange in this update.

The user view shouldn't be large from the begining! Small icons (e.g. 100px * 100px) would be big enough for buttons like "PhotoStream", "collections", "sets", ...etc. Make more rooms for the rightest panel instead!

It looks especially wired on the iPad in horizontal orientation, in the "You" section (screen split into three columns, populated with 2x blue rectanges and a narrow list of thumbnails)

I really like FlickStackr for its snappy…

  3. Make the iPad version display thumbnails like the iPhone

The iPad version still displays thumbnails as 'squares' - the update on the iPhone shows the images as 'justified' - portrait and landscape images are shown in the correct orientation and aspect ratio...which I think is much better. Can the iPad version be updated to do the same.

  4. swiping on photo shouldn't lead to full screen mode

Swiping on an image shouldn't change the view mode, but right now it automatically switch to full screen browsing.

If I really want to view a photo in full screen, I just tap on it.
But if I'm just swiping, please don't bring me into full screen.

  5. Bring back the favorite star at the top

....this has been replaced by a social media button, so we now have to open in the browser to favorite a picture. This is not an improvement!

  6. Remove the horribly annoying offline popup

I think you should remove or do something about this horribly annoying popup which is asking me if I want to enable offline mode. I can still browse the pictures so why throw the popup in my face so very often?

This is probably the app I use most frequently of all my apps, so I really not dislike it, just the popup...

    Best regards
    Joel Brogmar

  7. Bi-directional?

Maybe this is already possible, as I see the instructions for sending pix from Stacker to Flickr but is there a way to send them in the other direction?

You can either Save to Photo Library if you want to download photos from Flickr to your Photo Library or, the Stack to download photos to FlickStackr, so they are available for viewing offline. Photos added to the stack are not in your Photo Library.
    When viewing photos :
To Save to Photo Library tap on the action menu located on the top toolbar (it’s the icon with the arrow)
To send photos to the Stack tap on the Stack button located on the top toolbar (it’s the icon with the +). Later go to the Stack menu and you can see all photos downloaded to the Stack.

  8. HD playback

Add option to view videos in high-definition

  11. Arrange photos in set.

Every time I want to reorder sets I have to go into set, view in browser, click arrange, choose ordering, accept ordering, go back into set and then refresh set to update ordering.

Sorting of sets is possible in 3.6
    -
We are thinking in a adding at the top of some screens like photo stream, sets, options to search and sort. This will appear when you are in one of these screens and you do a pull down.

  12. On ipad version there is no title display when viewing photos!

When viewing photos on the iPhone, the titles for each photo are displayed at the bottom as you slide through them. This the main reason I liked the app as it separates it from every other photo viewer. However the iPad version does not show titles. Why are they just not the same!?

Is this when viewing the photos in full screen? If it is, this sounds like the toolbar that appears at the bottom of the screen is hidden on your iPad. You can hide and unhide this toolbar by doing a tap and hold on the screen until it appears or disappears. This is the same behaviour on both iPad and iPhone.

  13. Better background preload of Thumbnails in FlickStackr Explorer

It would be great, when the 'page' below the current one is loaded while looking at the current page. that would really create a cool feeling.

  14. Find some way of giving us 2048 images for the new iPad.

Download original version then resize in-app perhaps. It would take forever, but would be nice as an option. I appreciate the retina thumbs, they look stunning.

  15. Fix consistent crashes while searching and adding photos to the photo stack.

The application frequently crashes while searching and adding photos to the photo stack. This causes you to lose the entire photo stack, meaning you have to start over. This is occurring on the new iPad.

    This is fixed
After some investigation we have found that the stacks are only saved when you exit the app or you go to the Stacks screen. This means that if there are crashes all photos that were added to the Stack before the crash may not be saved. We have fixed this issue with the stacks. We are releasing an update that will include this fix, which will be available in about a week. In the meantime you can workaround this issue by either going to the Stacks screen or tap on the Home button on your iPad after you have added some photos to the stack, in this way if the app crashes you don’t loose the photos you have added to the stack.
For the crashes we believe the crashes are related to browsing the originals, but we are still investigating if you could confirm if you are…

  20. picasa

add Picasa/Google+ Albums, as you did with 500px. I'd buy it as in-app purchase. The App "Web Albums" does a good job but I'd love to have it in the neat FlickrStackr UI. Maybe this is the time to start an overall "PhotoStackr" ;)
