either delete photos after each one is uploaded or prevent duplicates with some md5sum hash2 votes
Apple does not allow deleting from the photo library on the device. What we can could do is add a property to the photos when uploaded from FlickStackr. When you upload with FlickStackr, uploaded photos will have a property to indicate that they have been uploaded. Next time you use FlickStackr to upload , all photos that are already uploaded could display this with an icon, we could even have an option to not show photos that have been uploaded already. Would something like this work for you?
When looking at the map where a particular image was taken. Show the users currency location in relation to where the photo was taken.14 votes
This is something we could add in a future version.
I have a business Facebook page which is linked to my FB personal page. So when I login to FB with my personal account details, I get access to my personal profile and 3 business pages, all photography related.
It would be great if the share function of Flickstackr gave me the choice of sharing to my personal FB profile or any my business pages.31 votes
This is something possible, not sure yet when we will have it available.
Related to facebook functionality we are working on the facebook add-in where you can manage your facebook photos within FlickStackr and it will include uploading photos to your business pages.
Add a bookmark for groups when browsing. This is very handy if you visit a group every day with tons of photos on it.
Most of the time, you go back and browse the group photos and you don't really know where you left off the last time you browsed the group.
Especially when the photos look the same ex. birds, landscapes, cars, etc.22 votes
Initial thoughts on how this could work: you will add the group to the stack and then within the stack we will have the functionality to add a bookmark so you can easily just go back to an specific photo. We will update the status of the request when we are close to start working on it.
Similar to 500px integration, would it be possible to have access to deviantART?com ?25 votes
There is deviantART has an API, so this is something we could add to FlickStackr.
What Flickstackr needs is a way to MUTE a user when doing a search. I don't want to have to wade through 36 of almost same photo tagged wrong in the first place when searching!
That is my #1 request of you and Flickr if they would do it.6 votes
We will add this functionality in a future version, not sure yet when. We will update the status of the request when we start working on it.
It would be great if you could add RAW file processing to your new editor. I currently shoot with a canon 60D and often edit files out in the field on the iPad, and being able to process Raw files with full EXIF data for upload would be great.5 votes
This could be done but only for some cameras, as each brand has his own RAW format.
Add Pinterest "pin it" support.12 votes
There is no Pinterest API, but it seems that they are working on one. We will check the availability of their API in the future. We will keep this open to see if if others may be interested on this functionality.
Do you want to do a search by date or to have the option to sort a photostream by date?
Right now, I have to reply by icon using multiple comment entries. Does the API let you make the Stackr UI so that I can just do it all in one comment box (similar to Flickr's main site)?4 votes
This is something possible. What we need to think is the way the interface would look like. What we are thinking is to add a Reply Comments which will open the Add Comment pop-up, like the one we currently have, but with a tab to the right where you will see avatars of the users that commented on the photo. You can tap on the avatars to select to who you want to reply.
I admin a big group and frequently need to remove pics, update discussions, and browse pool topics. Does the API support better Group admin features so you can make Group stuff more robust. Launching a web browser to delete images from the pool is a drag.7 votes
Unfortunately there is no API for group admin features. We won’t close this request as we may look in the future for a way to provide some group admin functionality.
This is definitely something that we can implement, we will post an update later so you know when to expect this feature
I think it is a bit hard but so import for me to show picture's note.2 votes
It is possible, we will post an update later on when you can expect this functionality.
Search through names of sets. This is so obvious that I hope it's just my ignorance and this feature is hidden somewhere.21 votes
The way we are thinking to implement this is: a) When you are in Sets you pull down to search for a set (this would be a small pull down, if you pull down further you will have the existing refresh functionality)
b) When you are editing a photo and you want to add a photo to set , the sets appear sorted alphabetically in the same way groups appear when you are editing a photos
It takes too many taps to add a comment. Being able to add one from full screen view would be a timesaver9 votes
This is something even us have wished to have when we are using FlickStackr. We are thinking in adding a comments icon to the existing quick toolbar (the one you can make appear and disappear with tap and hold)
As a user I can decide which buttons I want in the top toolbar. For example users may like to have a button to send to Photo Library with one tap.18 votes
There is limited space for buttons in the top toolbar so some options are in the Action menu. Some users may prefer having in the top toolbar, some of the options that are currently in the Action menu. What we are thinking is that as a user I will chose what goes to the top toolbar (limited to what fits in the screen) and what goes to the Action menu. This is something that it will likely take several releases to implement.
There is no Flickr API for this functionality, however this is something we could implement with a combination of native app look and browser interface inside FlickStackr: Items in the inbox appearing as other lists in FlickStackr and opening a browser interface to Flickr to compose messages.
It would be nice to be able to associate the award code for a group with that group, so that when you comment on a photo in that group's pool, as per group rules where you need to award shots, the award code is immediately filled in the comment in advance. Would make it easier to interact with groups4 votes
We will post an update later so you know when you can expect this functionality
Would be nice to have the option to avoid screenshots to be autouploaded0 votes
When you take a screenshot it goes to your photo library, as as third party
app accessing the photo library, there is not enough information to know
the origin of the photo (i.e photo is a screenshot). We could to add an option to skip png files (screenshots are png).
- Don't see your idea?
