as it says, please develop this app for android. :o)128 votes
As we have received so many requests regarding an Android version, we would like to get an idea of what kind of devices you are going to be using to run FlickStackr. From the comments I see some of you have phones. If you could leave a comment to let us know which Android device you have, it would be really helpful.
This is definitely something that we can implement, we will post an update later so you know when to expect this feature
Make FlickStackr a color managed app by adding Pantone/X-Rite ColorTRUE profile support for users who have calibrated their iOS devices with the ColorTRUE app.56 votes
We have taken a quick look at this, and it is definitely possible. There is a ColorTRUE Aware Partner Program that allows other apps to use the profiles from the ColorTrue app.
I have a business Facebook page which is linked to my FB personal page. So when I login to FB with my personal account details, I get access to my personal profile and 3 business pages, all photography related.
It would be great if the share function of Flickstackr gave me the choice of sharing to my personal FB profile or any my business pages.31 votes
This is something possible, not sure yet when we will have it available.
Related to facebook functionality we are working on the facebook add-in where you can manage your facebook photos within FlickStackr and it will include uploading photos to your business pages.
Similar to 500px integration, would it be possible to have access to deviantART?com ?25 votes
There is deviantART has an API, so this is something we could add to FlickStackr.
Add a bookmark for groups when browsing. This is very handy if you visit a group every day with tons of photos on it.
Most of the time, you go back and browse the group photos and you don't really know where you left off the last time you browsed the group.
Especially when the photos look the same ex. birds, landscapes, cars, etc.22 votes
Initial thoughts on how this could work: you will add the group to the stack and then within the stack we will have the functionality to add a bookmark so you can easily just go back to an specific photo. We will update the status of the request when we are close to start working on it.
Search through names of sets. This is so obvious that I hope it's just my ignorance and this feature is hidden somewhere.21 votes
The way we are thinking to implement this is: a) When you are in Sets you pull down to search for a set (this would be a small pull down, if you pull down further you will have the existing refresh functionality)
b) When you are editing a photo and you want to add a photo to set , the sets appear sorted alphabetically in the same way groups appear when you are editing a photos
As a user I can decide which buttons I want in the top toolbar. For example users may like to have a button to send to Photo Library with one tap.18 votes
There is limited space for buttons in the top toolbar so some options are in the Action menu. Some users may prefer having in the top toolbar, some of the options that are currently in the Action menu. What we are thinking is that as a user I will chose what goes to the top toolbar (limited to what fits in the screen) and what goes to the Action menu. This is something that it will likely take several releases to implement.
To be able to view and show photos for my friends, i would like a master/slave photo viewer. With this I mean that a group of friends can connect to my photo session where i shows my photos. I'm in control of wich photo that are presented on every slave device and via the speakers we can talk with each other and i can explain what is shown.
This would be a really cool and usefull feature.14 votes
Definitely something we could add in the future, not sure yet when.
When looking at the map where a particular image was taken. Show the users currency location in relation to where the photo was taken.14 votes
This is something we could add in a future version.
There is an SDK for Amazon Cloud Drive so we could add support to it. Let’s wait to see if there are others that would find useful this integration
Thanks for a great product. Use it on all my devices and it just works.
There is one thing I miss and that is FTP access so I can see the pictures stored on my NAS server or the hard drive I have at home.
Could you consider updating with this function?
This idea needs more thinking as there is one problem: the thumbnails. Currently we get the thumbnails from the service where you have the photos stored (i.e Flickr). For photos stored in NAS or hard drive we would need to open each photo and generate the thumbnail, this could take a really long time and then we need to store them, where would it be better on the NAS/hard drive or on your iPad (but that would mean using space on your device)
Do you want to do a search by date or to have the option to sort a photostream by date?
Add Pinterest "pin it" support.12 votes
There is no Pinterest API, but it seems that they are working on one. We will check the availability of their API in the future. We will keep this open to see if if others may be interested on this functionality.
Could you please add title & caption to the Slideshow/Fullscreen, without needing to go to the Details page? Improves photo experience!
Caption to photo seen in fullscreen12 votes
Have you tried the quick toolbar? If not you can make it appear with a tap and hold on the photo.
The quick toolbar appears at the bottom right of the photo and displays the title. It will stay there until you tap and hold again. The caption os not displayed as it can be really long, but we could add an option so it appears in the quick toolbar. This option would resize to toolbar to display the caption.
Please give a try to the quick toolbar, and let us know if having the caption there is what you are looking for.
While viewing the group pool where you are and admin, have the ability to remove photos. It could work as the un(favorite) feature.
So, the user could tap the Edit button and tap some photos. Then click on a new option (Remove) and then, after confirmation, finally remove the pictures from the pool.
An API example is this web tool: http://bighugelabs.com/poolcleaner.php
And the API documentation is here:10 votes
We can definitely add this with the Edit button option. We are planning making improvements to groups, in the future .We will update this idea once we have more details on when we will start working on it, and when will be available (probably in about a couple of months).
It takes too many taps to add a comment. Being able to add one from full screen view would be a timesaver9 votes
This is something even us have wished to have when we are using FlickStackr. We are thinking in adding a comments icon to the existing quick toolbar (the one you can make appear and disappear with tap and hold)
Add size to 10 Go (15000 pictures)
Allow to cache whole entier set/album at time
Allow to cache with picture all info (exif, tag, caption)
All thiss request for use without access by 3G or Wifi
Thank's for your interrest

To not be limited by the size of the cache you can use offline stacks. With offline stacks you can have locally as many pictures as needed. With offline stacks you can for example select your photo stream and send it to an offline stack, or you can send one or more sets to an offline stack. All photos are downloaded automatically.
The only issue we need to look at is that the picture info may not be available (i.e. EXIF, tags) this is something we could add.
Photo size is not always included in EXIF info.8 votes
The image size is now visible when uploading, next we could add image size in details view. We will update the status once we start working on this.
I would love to see which photos I've added to favorites with a star right in the thumbnail view. Much like how the official flickr app shows them.8 votes
This is possible. We will update the status once we decide in which version this would be added.
